What you get

Business cards

Cards for staff, contractors or campaigns. How many cards you need is agreed during onboarding.

Personal cards

A multi-currency card for your own spending, funded from your balances. Card prices will be listed when cards open.

Virtual and physical

Virtual cards for online spend and subscriptions, physical cards for travel and in-person purchases.

Budgets and limits

Set a budget per card, campaign, team or person and watch spend against it.

Freeze and replace

Freeze a card when a campaign pauses or a contractor leaves, and replace a lost card.

Multi-currency by default

Every card spends from your Valtora balances in any currency. If you hold the currency you pay in, the card uses that balance with no conversion. If not, we convert on the platform at the live rate, from the balance that costs you least, and the conversion fee shows on the transaction.

Questions

Can I have several business cards?

Yes. How many you need, for example one per campaign, is agreed during onboarding.

Are cards debit or credit?

Debit. Cards spend from your Valtora balances.

Can I offer cards to my own customers?

Yes, through Cards as a Service, which is a separate programme for partners.

Which card network will you use?

We will publish card network details before launch.

What happens when I pay in another currency?

The card checks the balances you allow it to use. A balance in the merchant's currency is used first, so there's no conversion. Otherwise we convert on the platform at the live rate from the balance that costs you least, and you see the rate and the conversion fee on the transaction.

Can I link a card to a different account?

Yes. Each virtual or physical card spends from the account you link it to, for example your current account or your trading account. Switch it at any time: the card keeps its number and details, so you don't need a new card.
