What Valtora covers

Six parts of a trade payment flow

Each module uses Valtora products that are part of the launch. Which ones you use depends on your business, your countries and the eligibility review.

  1. A

    Supplier & invoice payments

Pay invoices for goods and for services: manufacturers, wholesalers, software providers, agencies and contractors. You see the rail, amount, fees and reference before you confirm, and the invoice number stays on the payment.

    • Invoices for goods and for services
    • SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH, wires and SWIFT
    • Invoice number kept in the payment reference
    International payments
  2. B

    Export & buyer collections

Give overseas buyers dedicated or virtual IBAN details, or USD account details for SWIFT, so export revenue arrives in your company's name with its reference. Receiving details cover a set of account currencies, while conversion and payouts cover 40+ currencies. These are two different lists, and we confirm both for your business before you open an account.

    • Dedicated and virtual IBANs
    • USD accounts for SWIFT
    • A virtual IBAN per buyer, region or marketplace
    Global accounts
  3. C

    Multi-currency treasury & FX

Receive, hold and convert supported currencies, and keep collections, operating funds and treasury in separate balances. Convert a balance when an invoice falls due, or convert and pay in one step. The conversion fee and any transfer fee appear as separate lines.

    • Conversion and payouts across 40+ currencies
    • Collections, operating and treasury balances
    • Every balance in your reporting currency
    Currency conversion
  4. D

    Crypto & stablecoin settlement

Receive supported stablecoins from buyers or platforms, convert them to fiat and pay suppliers through a bank route, or turn fiat into stablecoins for counterparties who settle that way. USDT and USDC are available today. Each asset runs only on the networks we support for it, and we confirm assets and networks during onboarding.

    • Stablecoin receipts and payouts
    • Fiat/crypto conversion
    • On- and off-ramps
    Crypto & on/off-ramps
  5. E

    Bulk business payouts

Pay many suppliers, contractors and partners in one run. Upload a CSV, check the batch and submit it, with each payee paid in their own currency or in stablecoins. Payment APIs for payouts and reconciliation are available, with scope and access agreed during onboarding.

    • One CSV for the whole run
    • Mixed currencies and rails
    • APIs for payouts and reconciliation
    Bulk payouts
  6. F

    Assisted payment support

Trade payments go through with fewer follow-up questions when they carry complete details: the beneficiary's name and bank details, the invoice number in the reference, and supporting documents when a payment is reviewed. Each payment keeps its reference in your account activity. If you need help with invoice checks, payment investigations or returns, raise it in your payment-flow assessment and we will discuss what we can support.

    • Complete beneficiary details
    • Invoice references on every payment
    • Supporting documents when a payment is reviewed

Illustrative workflows

How trade payments run through Valtora

Four common trade payment patterns. They are examples, not real customers or figures.

An importer pays an overseas supplier

  1. 1FundOperating account

Move money into your operating balance from collections or by bank transfer.

  2. 2ConvertConversion if needed

Convert into the supplier's currency if your balance is in another currency.

  3. 3PaySEPA · SWIFT

Pay the supplier by local rail or SWIFT, with the invoice number in the reference.

  4. 4ReconcileReference kept

Match the payment to the invoice using its reference in your account activity.

Your own funds and client funds

These workflows use the company's own money: revenue it has earned and payments it makes for its own business. If you collect or hold money on behalf of clients, tell us during onboarding. Not every business account can hold pooled client money, and client-fund arrangements are agreed case by case.

Questions about trade payments

Which account details can I receive?

Dedicated and virtual IBANs and USD accounts for SWIFT, in a set of supported account currencies. We confirm which receiving details apply to your business before you open an account.

Can I collect in one currency and pay in another?

Yes. Hold what you receive, convert when you need to, and pay out in 40+ currencies. Receiving currencies and payout currencies are two different lists.

Can I pay suppliers for goods and services?

Yes. You can pay invoices for goods, such as manufactured products and wholesale stock, and for services, such as software, agencies and contractors, from your company's own funds.

Can I combine fiat and stablecoin settlement?

Yes. You can receive supported stablecoins and pay suppliers in fiat, or convert fiat into stablecoins for counterparties who settle that way. Asset and network support is confirmed during onboarding.

Which countries, currencies and routes are available?

That depends on your business activity, your jurisdiction, your counterparties' countries and the eligibility review. List your corridors in the form below and we'll confirm what applies to you.

What documentation may be required?

During onboarding we review company documents, ownership and, where relevant, licences. Individual payments may need supporting documents, such as an invoice or contract, where regulation requires it.

How are fees and exchange rates presented?

Transfers and conversions are charged as separate events, and you see the rate and every fee before you confirm. Your prices depend on where your business is based and what it does; the pricing page shows them.

Do you provide procurement, customs or freight services?

No. Valtora handles the financial side of trade: accounts, payments, conversion and settlement. Purchasing, customs brokerage, permits, warehousing and freight stay with your trade and logistics partners.
